What we collect
When you enter the scholarship database or contact us, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, how you heard about us, and (if you choose to share it) your branch affiliation, service status, and relation to a service member.
How we use it
We use your email to send the monthly scholarship newsletter you signed up for: new opportunities as we find them. Optional service details help us understand who the database serves so we can curate better. We do not sell your information.
Counting visits
We count visits to this site. Each visit records the page, the referring site's domain name, a coarse device type, how long a page stayed open and how far it was scrolled, a random visit key kept only in your browser tab for up to 30 minutes and discarded when the tab closes, and anonymous daily and monthly visitor keys made from your connection and browser that cannot be turned back into a person. No cookies, nothing shared or sold. Searches in the scholarship and book finders are counted by the filters used, never by what you typed.
In the member portal
Members who sign in to the portal also share how they use it: which sections they open and for how long, what they search for, and which scholarships they save or update. This is tied to the member account, is never sold, and helps us improve the portal and show sponsors real usage without naming anyone.
Who it's shared with
Your information lives in the systems we use to run this site and our newsletter. It is not shared with advertisers or sold to third parties.
Retention & your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email Kristen@Partners-In-Purpose.com and we'll take care of it.
